Motor Rebuild - What am I missing?

I'm making a list of parts I'll need to purchase... Please let me know if I'm forgetting something or if I don't need something I've listed.

Bought an engine that spun a rod bearing, when I got the oil pan off, there was no bearing. I don't know how many miles are on this engine, it's not the original engine. Car has 50K on it.

I bought pistons/rods/crank assembly already.

Thanks.

Do I need to get the front cover of the oil pump, or just the gasket and gears?

Just get a new oil pump and save yourself the time and money for in the long run.

WTF Mitsu?

Is it just me, or does CAPS conflict with the FSM on which direction to read the crankshaft bearing bore from the bottom of the block... Caps reads from the timing belt toward the flywheel as 1-5 and the FSM reads from 5-1 ..?

The picture I took is looking at the block like it's in CAPS so my mains bores are:

(In CAPS)
No.1 : 1
No.2 : 1
No.3 : 1
No.4 : 1
No.5 : 2

(In FSM)

No.1 : 2
No.2 : 1
No.3 : 1
No.4 : 1
No.5 : 1

so my bearings could be either...

Crank Block Bearing Size
2 2 4
2 1 3
1 1 2
2 1 3
2 1 3

-------OR------

Crank Block Bearing Size
2 1 3
2 1 3
1 1 2
2 1 3
2 2 4

Anybody got any insight on this? Thanks.
