Its time for that 60K timing and balance belt replacment. I was wondering if you guys had any recommedations on which brand is prefered? I found a company called Gates. Has anyone heard/used them and are they reliable? Just looking for some insight guys. Any info or guidance would be helpful. Thanks

I went with the factory OEM Mitsubishi timing belt. I would recommend ordering the complete kit from Russell at mitsubishiparts.net. However, Gates makes a great product as well.

gates is great, also greddy makes good t-belt and balence belt too. but if you dont want to spend the money for the kevlar belts the oem ones will do the job.
