T-Case Warranty Help

I know this might have been covered before, but I have been reading a ton of searches and havn't found my answer. What does the dealership look for in terms of warranty on a transfer case? How can they tell if it has been "abused" or not. Does factory fluids have to be in the t-case in order for them to warranty it? Thanks for any help, I am just worried they will not cover it after all of the stories I have read about warranty coverage.

They didnt cover mine but then again i had my tranny fluid filld at F****** goodyear they thought that it was my tranny but ended up being the transfer case and F***** it up also they left the fill cap off of it. The dealership wouldnt cover it unless they had filld the transfer case and you can prove they did it. I finally proved they screwed it up then threatend to sue if they didnt pay for the damages.... They ended up payin for them. hahaha. But ya they wont cover much on the transfer case. sorry for the bad news. good luck getin it fixed. FYI keep your old 1 there are some ppl that will buy them and fix them.
