ATP T3 Adapter ... Anyone Using It ?

ATP manifold adapter, allows T3 flanged turbo on std manifold ... Anyone Using It ?

I was looking at the ATP adapter ... So it will produce lots of lag ?
Was tempted to buy it for my gt3037R because i heard a lot of aftermarket exhaust manifold will crack even branded one like HKS ... So being able to use back our original manifold saves me alot of headache ... So any suggestion on what should i get ... The ATP adapter or Custom made manifold ?

Are the ATP T3 Adapter any good ?

most parts that come from atp are marginal at best. they are pretty large on the vw side (where i have plenty of 1st hand exp. with them), and i run into typical issues (warped flanges/horrible welds/fitment issues, etc). they bring some neat ideas to the market, but alot of them (like this) is a cheap shortcut at best. get a reputable manifold (shearer/buschur/f-r) and you shouldn't have problems if you don't try to melt it with tuning. not to mention, you will make more power/better throttle response with any t3 framed turbo on a properly built manifold than you will with an oem/adapter config.
