Check your oil level. What oil are you using?

Check the sending unit. There are some past threads about this. If the sender is ok, then something else is going on (oil pump perhaps).

My oil light would flicker after a track session, which gets the oil really hot. Fixed by running 10W40 oil. But this should not happen in normal use, so check it out, don't just run thicker oil. I also installed oil pressure & temp gauges since I don't trust the simple oil light.

I was having the same problem when I was running 5w30, I did it just for the winter and it started doing it one day. I changed it two weeks ago and went back to 10w30 and haven't seen it yet.
