EVO 9 Oil drain bolt

To make a long story short, i bought my Evo 9 used from a local dealer about 3 months ago. Everything was great and i love the car. Yesterday when i decided to do an oil change, i noticed that when i took out the oil drain bolt, it was stripped. The drain bolt and the thread on the oil pan is fawked...My guess is the pervious owner fawked up. Well, right now i want to get it replace. Should i get a new oil pan??? If i do, how hard is it to remove the stock oil pan?? Do I need to get a new oil return line with the oil pan??? Any help would appreicate....Thanks

its easy.. there a couple of bolts unbolt it comes right down squirt some rtv around the pan. and thro ur new one on just get a stock oil pan u dont need to spend 100 of dollars on a oil pan which isnt really made for the road and use for the track only... unless u track ur car alot.

oil return tube is NOT necessary on a IX only if you buy a new oem oil pan for VIII. They stopped makeing the VIII oil pan and the IX's oil pan has a slightly different return location.

What advantage does the AMS oil pan have? is it stronger in case it scrapes the track?
