reving

so i was driving today... and i noticed that when i shift it into 3rd the car revs in the motion its already going and than it takes off...i dont know if that is supposed to happen or if there is something wrong with anything.....same thing happens sometimes when i shift into 2nd and 4th....does anyone know what can be wrong??....is there like a boost leakeage or something like that...thx for helping me out

maybe you can explain better, but it sounds like you need to let off the gas pedal a little sooner before pressing the clutch.....

like it happens after i let go off the clutch and press the accelator....like u can hear it rev but the car wont go any faster

hmm, sounds like your clutch isnt engaging all the way when you let off.... maybe your clutch is starting to go out?

Double check your driving technique, or clutch is on the way out..

Go into 5th, start off at low RPMs, go WOT and if the RPMs jump then it's time for a new clutch.

I loved my ATC. Im replacing it now though. I dont know what to go with this time though. Maybe a quatermaster.

it still could be a sign the clutch is wearing!! I like my EXEDY twin plate, but am upgrading to a carbonetic

sometimes when clutches wear you can adjust the clutch petal for later engagement, you still may want to have it checked. especially on your 03
