I just picked up my 9 about 2 months ago, it got 45k on it and i just picked up a new clutch. I got the ACT Heavy Duty with the 6 pad sprung disc. Right now im sitting at 331whp 327tq, but i should be getting a 35r very soon. My question is, is this a good clutch for what i got now and what i will be haven. I will eventually get a Exede twin disc but right now i dont got the money to buy that so i figured that this would be my best option. Thanks guys

 

its a good clutch...just dont launch it unless you really have to...

 

thats the thing im going to be doing alot of racing. Do you think that it is bad for this or you think i should be fine for some time? I was told that this is the best ACT set-up. Thanks Guys

 

any clutch that your gona be launching multiple times is eventually gona go out fast...i got about 60 launches on my past act xtreme with about 400whp...

 

Yeah im not going to be launching my car everyday or anything but just once and a while when someone decides to call me out on it. But thanks alot on the help. you helped out alot.

 

I've seen in the range of 150 launches on this exact clutch on a 400 whp EVO with no issues.

 

My act 6 puck has about 25-30 launches now and I haven't even raced a half of a season.
