Pros vs Cons of boring your engine!?

Well I recently melted 3 pistons on my evo8. Going to be boring the cylinder walls .20 over and building the engine. I was kind of curious though what your opinions are on a bored block, will I notice any differences in power, sound or driveability? Are there any negatives to boring the cylinder walls? Everyone always seems to do a 2.3 stroker kit around here so Im kind of curious if anything will change after I do this!

Thanks,
- Tyler G.

its .02 over. and its not really noticeable as far as power, but i guess you could say a con would be a thinner cylinder wall.... but again, that shouldnt be a problem at all. you will definitely notice if you do a 2.3 stroker tho.....
