At one point it sounds like you are spooling a turbine like the ones hanging off the wings of a 747.

Do you live near an airport?

On a more serious note I see you only have 8 posts here and may be new to evos. I would call the dealer IMMEDIATELY and tell them the experience. Hell, link them to your video. It sounds to me like your transfer case is going to need to be rebuilt/replaced because they usually start to whine right before they **** the bed. Thats an expensive and time consuming repair if they wont do it under warranty, you did get a warranty right?

Also, in your 45 min test drive did you do highway driving at all? Like say for example at 3k in 5th gear?

sounds like transfer case whining. immediately call wherever you bought it from. t-case is expensive and timely.

doesn't sound like you have any modifications done to the car, so this should be under warranty.

I bought the car from a used car dealer that specialized in exotic or high end cars. Unfortunately in SC i can't bring the car back, theirs no laws saying they have to take it back. but the car didn't go into service till Feb of 07 so its under warranty till feb 2012. I'm going to take it to a local mitsu dealer. does anybody think that the temp plates will cause any issues''?
