okay to run car with ACD fuse removed??

i searched, but did not find an answer (i'm new. maybe still learning how to effectively use the search feature here.. it seems a bit.. odd).

anyway... my ACD is all lit up like an xmas tree. the car was in an accident. acd pump does not look damaged, but i see moisture around most of the joints/connecting areas.. so i'll assume it is.

the clutch was swapped but i'm told the ACD banjo bolt was never removed.

none of the lines look damaged. i find it strange that the line goes across the front of the car... back up the frame rail on pass. side.. then back across the firewall.. all to end up about 4' behind the pump... but it all seems fine otherwise. i am loosing no fluid from the reservoir.

i read how to bleed the system (key to "on". floor gas pedal, burp), but have not had a chance to try it.

i had to dive the car 400 miles this week. i've read i could have killed the pump? i don't even WANT acd. i mean.. i'm always on tarmac.

so.. with all lights on, does the system default to "tarmac" settings, meaning the diff unlocks while turning? this would make the most sense.

am i damaging anything by driving it this way? can i just "turn off" the system/remove the fuse? is there even a fuse for the ACD?? yes. i'm that new to Evos.

man. i really don't like gadgets and gizmos on my car. especially electronic ones.

i'm not looking forward to spending $300+ on a pump that i feel i don't really need.. but will if it's causing damage to the diff/transfer case/etc.

thanks for reading.
