I've got a mostly stock (for now) 06 IX and when I try a full launch or just a WOT 1st gear accel, the shift to 2nd is pretty rough if I am really after it. My gut feel is that there is a lot of engine movement and that may be the culprit. Driving around it shifts fine, no noise. The 2-3 shift will also clunk a bit at the gate during an all out accel. It does have the solid shifter bushing (underhood) installed.

I have searched on here and just want to confirm. It seems like a lot of folks point to an upgrade of the front mount being a cure to some of these issues. This is a DD car, but I don't want to trash the tranny with this issue.

After the front mount there seems to be a lot of pro/con disagreement on how much further to go with aftermarket mounts.

The shift issue bothers me enough that I find myself shying aware from really getting after it in low gears. Don't want to break my new toy this soon....
