how about this kit?

is this a legit kit or not. It seems so much cheaper than the other kits. I need opinions about what combination I should go with? (like rods, crank, pistons etc.) thanks. http://www.maperformance.com/map-str...trokerkit.html

seems legit, Your best bet would prob be to contact MAP and discuss your goals with them. Im sure they'd point you in the right direction.

if you are doing the work yourself you will find that there is a lot more that is needed besides the kit. just read some of the stroker posts where they talk about their builds. you will need a machine shop near by that you trust for balancing and helping you out.

if you do decide to try the kit out let us know we would love to hear how it works out. GL

I built my motor and used the same kit. With Wiseco pistons. Only got 3000km's on it but doing the trick. 430whp on 98ron with a gt30. Was told over 500whp on racegas. I got my rotating assembly balenced and they had to do very little to get it right.
