Changing Clutch: What Oils to Use??

hows it goin,

Just wanted to know what fluids everyone used for thier TC and tranny. I done searches but the newest thread was from 2007 and i that as years go one people become more evo-smart. Does anyone use anything other than Diaqueen for the TC? What are you guys running for the tranny?

Thanks for all input!

I'm using Redline 75W90. The car runs and shifts smoother.

For the transmission oil I was having trouble deciding either Amsoil MTG 75w 90 or Redline MT90 75w 90. I did some searching around and it still made things difficult to choose one from the other.

Anyways Shep Trans recommends the Redline MT 90 75w 90 but from what I've read is that its a "dirty oil" from petroleum. The Amsoil MTG is a full synthetic oil recommended by apagan01 with some tested data and members vouching. Both are liked by majority and both had 1 or 2 people that didnt.

I chose the Amsoil over the Redline because its fully synthetic.

If you go with the Amsoil make sure you get the MTG 75w 90 GL4. User name apagan01 will take care of you in getting the right product.

If you go with the Redline make sure you get the MT 90 75w 90 GL4.

As for the transfer case. You cant go wrong with the OEM Diaqueen.

I'm guessing he'll use standard shipping which would take a maximum of a week. You can ask him if he can use a faster shipping method but it would cost you.

Just PM apagan01. If he's online, he should PM you back within minutes. For the price, it was a lot cheaper then my original 3 quarts of Royal Purple and Diaqueen LSD oil setup.

FYI for everyone, we have the ability to ship using all the methods UPS uses,,,

those are :
-Normal = 3-7 days this method is the one we use the most,, and we have seen that the turnaround has been 2-4 days pretty quick

-Ground ususally 2-3 days
-2nd day air
-3rd day
-Next day air
