So I just built my 2.3 stroker motor and got everything together and started it no problems. Drove around for a couple miles and parked it because it was late. So the next day I start it up and go to leave and look back and all I see is white smoke real bad so cut car off right away and push it back home. Mind you this is a stock turbo with 50xxx miles so i change the turbo with another stock one I got off another member with 3xxxx miles on it thinking it was the turbo. Start it up and same thing. Now I am stumped. I put my 35r kit on thinking it was just the used turbos and same thing again. I have done a comression test and all is good. Please help me out what is going on? Thanks

 

Hey. Glad to see it's running for you finally. My car sat for about 2 months during the whole trade process, and it blew some white smoke for a few minutes too. It turned out to be moisture in the exhaust from sitting for so long. How long did you drive it for? Another possibility is a bad head gasket that's only peeling open once the car is up to temp. Did you do a compression test when it was warm or when it was cold?
