Need some help with something

last night i drove about 88 miles to the shore...when i was headed back i stopped ar Burger King and smoke started coming out of my hood so i tuned off the car poped the hood and let it sit there for a few...and mind you my car has misfired the week before so i took it back to the dealer and he restarted the comp...when i pull out of Burger King i notice that my RPM starts at 2...i aint think much of it...then i come across a red light so i put the car in nuetral i notice my revs move up and down by themself not alot but like about 1 rpm up and down and my car makes this droning noise...idk what the problem is....can someone give me professional help...

dude it smelled like the clutch was burning i poped the hood, it wasnt that much smoke but i still saw it...ever time i put my car in nuetral from any gear the rpm meter fluctuates up and down then it goes up to 2 and then goes back down when i pull off again

yea burnt clutch does have its own distinct smell lol, but it might sound like the last problem you have is resurfacing again, you didn't mod it recently did you?

Check for leaks, both exhaust and vacuum/boost.

its possible that your clutch could be goin out, I mean is it slipping or not disengaging like it should or something? and just curious you did put premium fuel in your tank right? and what do you mean when you say you took too long to shift into the next gear? like you pressed in the clutch and shifted really slow?

the only time I get a CEL is when I'm crusing but thats a P0300 code which is rare but it happens because of my lightened flywheel

I would get it tuned, most mechanics working on Evos at Mitsu dealers dont know a thing about Evos. The check engine light on dash probably from removing the CAT going with 3inch turbo back exaust system. I would check the 02 sensor, vacum leak, boost leak or perhaps an exaust leak....do yourself a favour dont take your car to Mitsubishi Dealership.
