So I bought my IX this past winter and never really ran the A/C. Since it's getting hot here in MO I've been running it more and I'm noticing it kinda gives off a funky smell when it first gets going. Also, when it runs I get a noticeable drop in revs and a banging noise begins after it runs for a while. The A/C completely works and blows nice and cold. Questions:

Does the EVO have a cabin air filter and where is it?

Is my A/C compressor going out?

I'm going to take it to a shop soon, but I thought I'd check with the community first.
