What oil filter do you use? Does anyone use the Power Enterprise Mag II? Any disadvantages to using a magnetic oil filter or oil plug?

 

I use either the stock one (buy it at the dealership) or I use Mobil 1 filter...Model # M110

 

I use a WIX filter from O'Reily's. Have used them in a few cars with great results.

There was testing done on dsmtuners along time ago with i think around 10 filters that were cut open and tested as far as filtering/flow goes.

37K miles and all oil changes have been done with OEM filters with no problems yet.

 

I use Mobil 1 10w30 and a fram oil filter. I drive in heavy traffic every business day to dc, and avg 86 miles a day. I have 120k miles on the car..no engine problems.

Stocker, easy to get and cheap.

 

OEM on all my Mitsu's & DSM's. I have also used the Mobil1 on my FD.

Any reason why you are using 10W40? I'm thinking of switching over to try it out. Do you run it in winter?

I run stock or M1-110 oil filters.

I use the Mobil one M108 I think it is. I have been using them since 04 with no problems at all.

Fram or OEM. I know people may flame Fram but it works just as fine.
