o2 bung installation help

Okay I was hoping to find some answers and alternate options other than welding. Was thinking a tap and die set but would need the right fitment, would anyone know the size of that fitment or where i can get it? Also what would be the best place to place the o2 sensor? thanks

why dont you take it to an exhaust shop and have them weld it? that would be the easiest option...

Any exhaust shop can do a O2 bung.

Tapping won't work. Exhaust tubing is too thin for that.

Weld or fail.

alright thanks guys...the only reason i didn't want to go to a shop is because i was told i need to drop the whole exhaust and dp to get it in the place i want it. which in turn will cost more for labor for dropping the whole piping. maybe i'll just have to take it out myself and bring it to the shop for them to weld? anyone have pictures where to weld it exactly? i don't have a cat so i'm guessing right before the bend or higher?

i welded mine at 12 o'clock right beside the outputshaft on the t-case. there is also a rubber plug right next to it so theres a great spot to run your wire!
