The fuel rail adapter depends on who you have do your cutting work, and how large your batch size. I'd guess it's pretty small, so therefore, possibly pretty pricey since most of the machine time is for setup and tooling and very little cutting time.

I understand you're in business to make money, and in these times we all need every cent we can get. This particular kit just didn't quite seem to justify the expense for me. Granted, I'm sure there will be people willing to pay for it, and I have no doubt it will perform as advertised.

And for the record, my evo makes 340whp (dyno dynamics) which is probably somewhere close to 300whp on your mustang. Maybe we should start calling you Cleo! But hey, it doesn't hurt to dream.
I was right, your 340 whp build doesn't need this.

Your pricing is also way off. I don't know where you find filter for $24.99 but the one we use is not that cheap. I use what is proven to work, I don't shop Ebay.

The SS wye is NOT available through Eldon James cletus. This wye is 5/16" on two sides and 3/8" on the other, it is NOT made by anyone, but thank you.

The -6 fuel rail adapters we also had machined, cost us much more than we use to buy them for. Regretably the company that we use to buy from no longer makes them. Can it be found else where for less than I am paying to have them machined maybe. The fact is it cost us $65 to have that one piece made and then anodized to hold up to alcohol.

Also for reference there is 48" of fuel line there. By the foot that is $64 in fuel line.

Now, please remove yourself from this thread and go shop Ebay or wherever else makes you happy.

I don't need to justify my pricing or innovation. Buy it or don't, in your case, as I knew was the case, you don't even need it and I'd bet money never will.

I too thought the price was really high but this is garuanteed to work so saving a 100 dollars is not worth building something yourself that might start leaking because of not building it right or using the quality parts that david uses. When you first see the picture it looks really expensive for what you get but I understand the price and I know the high hp cars will buy this.

Good luck with the product

You asked me to price these items and get back to you. I did.

This we both agree upon

If you follow the link I posted (at your request) it is from Jegs. You don't shop ebay? So you've never recommended or bought the ebay O2 housing?

First, no need to call me names, I was actually trying to help. Maybe if I found some cheaper alternatives, you could reduce the cost and help out members of this forum who need this particular solution. After all, isn't that the purpose of the forums?

I'm also confused as to why you spend this much time and money CNCing bits when you could convert it to AN fittings available over the counter and cheap at any speedparts store. I know Earls, Goodridge and Russell have got to have the fittings needed for this kit.

Same as above

Since you started this thread I will do as you wish and not make another post.

And btw, I think your project white build is great. As someone who tunes my own Ecu using Ecuflash I'm glad you kept with the stock Ecu and appreciate your development and feedback on how much power can be made using it. You may not think much of my 340whp, but for 91 octane at 6000ft altitude, I'm pretty happy with it.

For reference, Earl's, Russel nor Aeroquip make the wye fitting. I wish they did.

Interesting....the company I spoke to about a 10 micron ss filter for my e85 fuel setup said they supplied your fuel filters to you. I recall them asking me - oh you have an evo, have you heard of buschur racing?

and I can assure the price I was quoted was not over 24.99 and I was only buying one (not bulk) and this is for the barbed SS 10 micron fuel filter. Because I also asked is this e85 compatible and they said were not 100% sure as they never tested it but the company (buschur) who is using this exact filter have not reported any problems and seems to be fine for e85.

Soooooo how can you say its not that cheap?

Only y fitting I could find was to use a Nitrous "y" with -6 threads on all 3 sides.

I went through and priced this kit with that "y" and the parts ended up around $160 before shipping. so after shipping your looking at close to $200 with shipping from 5 different places. And at that the kit wont look as clean as it does with the Buschur set-up.

I see dude's point but having seen the miniscule margins in this world of drop shippers and resellers, I don't mind paying a bit more for a company who spends time and effort designing things and being a part of the community. Thanks Dave and as soon as I start getting onto E85, I'll be using your double pumper and this part as well.

I already have the pumps. But even at that, Im going up to 1600s. This may get done later on, but I need the injectors.

I was just trying to figure it out roughly and I came up close to the same price for the set-up.

I mean Buschur has to make some money for coming up with and and getting all the parts together.

I priced my kit using the $15 filter posted from Jegs.

No matter how I went around it, the cheapest I could come up with was $155 before shipping and tax from Summit.

So probably $190. Considering he said he'd sell it for $200 when you buy the double pumper with it, thats probably about what he has in it.

Its one of those things that if you cant afford it, dont bad mouth him for the price he set. Either Frankenstein it together, or dont get it.

At the power level needed for this kit, im sure people have spent more money on more worthless parts.

Just trying to understand how the parts that are in the picture go together. Thanks for the reply.

BTW, I had to call today to buy another 20 filters. While I was on the phone with Kinsler, which is who makes the filter we use, I asked about our pricing. I was incorrect. The price on the filter is $24.99. Not sure why I thought it was higher but I wanted to come back here and say I was wrong. So you can knock $10 off the original price I posted.

^ Lol, good stuff. I just installed a double pumper with those double clamps. I hope they hold and don't leak, as I know that is not the "correct" way of doing it, but thats how the kit came.
