Everyone Please Read! Advice Needed!!!

Okay, I have been reading a lot of differnt issues on the tuning of our EVO's. THis is what I have just purchased and would like advice. 3" TB exhaust, Greddy E-Manage with all sensors, Profec E-01, HKS 272/272 cams, Walboro Fuel pump, 720cc injectors and a BOV. My car is a daily driver and all I really want is about 330-350 to the wheels. I don't care about idle and don't mind if I stall a few times but I don't want to in any way to ruin this car. I want it as safe as possible with NO DETONATION. What is your advice???? I'll take any and all. Ohh, and the car will be tuned by JOTECH.

Thanks all

If you throw all that stuff on your Evo and tune it properly, you should be able to get at least 330 AWHP on 93 octane gas.

With HKS 272's, you will be able to idle fine. When using the eManage to "upsize" your injectors, do not state the factual amount of 720cc's... it will be very difficult to get it to idle. Report about 670, which is what I did on the advice of DynoFlash, and it idled MUCH better.

I don't know who JOTECH is, but you might want to invest in a wideband O2, or at least an EGT guage with peak-hold for home tuning. Also, be sure to save their tune to a .GSC file after it is finished, that way you don't lose everything whenever you next disconnect the battery.

Have Fun, and be patient

Will I need Head Studs?

Come on! Is this a good setup up or not? What should I add or leave out? Will I make 330-350 to the wheels with this setup?

That depends dude. In theory you have all the parts, but it's all about the tuning.... there was an evo up at knowledge performance that had all the right parts to make 330+ awhp but was only putting down 275 because it was not tuned right.

I don't know what your past tuning experience is nor do I want to assume anything, so now that you have all the parts you need to find someone to handle the tuning of the emanage. If you don't have anyone local to do it, you may consider scrapping that for a reflash.
