2.3 stroker on 85mm bore?

Ive seen alot of pistons for the 2.3l stroker on stock bore. Is this possible? I'm about to get a blockthats in perfect shape and there isnt a trust worthy machine shop around so I'd like to try stroking the motor using the stock bore. Any one tried this?

You can do that as long a the cylinders are good, but you need to at the very least hone it. The rings will not seat properly without honing.

4g63 block, pistons, and rods with a 4g64 crank. There's your 2.3l. You also need to check your crank clearance because its bigger. A little grinding and your good.
