Willl a JDM altered muffler work on a stock bumper?

I was just curious if a muffler that has been altered for a JDM bumper will still work on a OEM bumper. I know someone that is selling a muffler i want but he had it altered for his JDM bumper and i want to make sure I can still use it without any issues. Thanks!

It will probably be short. You can get an extended test pipe if you have a slip fit rear hanger and will probably work ok. I have one for sale if u want it.

so the only issue is how it looks. it's not going to rub on anything or not fit?
