removing oil pan

it looks like whats left of a bearing....I hope it's not though. If it was though you should be able to tell something was wrong though lol. Just curious though, do you have your balance shafts eliminated?

i think that is an old piece that has been replaced, liek johnboy said, i would have known for sure if that blew off into the oil pan

since you have your oil pan out, take advantage and grab each rod by its cap and try and see if they have any movement side to side, ect..... shold have some but nothing excesive

everything is perfect, I bolted everything back up, put the oil in, it idles perfectly, runs perfectly...no ticking or knocking, NO MORE LEAKSSSSSS, just need to replace my tire now...

took it for a spin...something is ticking/vibrating, softly though...wtf!!!
jeeeez..its one thing after another....im gonna be gone before i can even drive my car=[

also, to the OP. you need a new gasket for the turbo oil return line (the oil pan side) or that sucker will leak pretty badly when you put it all back together...Just lettin ya know
Are there two gasket one from the oil pan and the other from the turbo . How hard is it to replace both . Im having two leaks from the oil pan and one from the turbo return line.
