I recently tried adding an oil and fuel treatment to my Evo. I asked if it was ok to use with full synthetic oil (5w-30) and the clerk gave me the deer in a headlight look! That wasn't the answer I was looking for, so I'm bringing it to my Evo family. I'm not concerned about the fuel treatment, but is it ok to use with full synthetic oil? Has anyone else used an oil treatment in thier Evo with full synthetic oil? My experience has been ok! nothing spectacular, but not issues either! Just want to make sure that I'm not setting my engine up for an explosion. Help me out Evo'ers!!

 

Why are you adding anything to your oil? They provide no benefits but certainly some drawbacks. The only thing you should ever add is some quality fuel injector cleaner into your gas tank once in a while like Chevron Techron.
