BBK Owners: Anyone running an upgraded WGA?

With ecu controlled boost, my 8 has such minimal boost taper its insane. My BBK shipped with the stock/OEM WGA and I left it exactly as it came, no extra pre-load.

Mid-tuning session on pump, I snapped this pic with my cell phone. Look how flat the boost is!

Anyways, I have some friends with FP Reds and they've all got the standard 18psi WGA and are on E85, peak boost of 31-33, tapering to 27 at redline. With my ported head, the BBK (on my alky setup) peaks at 30psi and drops down to about 25psi @ 7500rpm. WGDC is at 100% from about 5500-8000.

I'm all about longevity and keeping the turbo at a safe max shaft speed, but just wondering if anyone out there is running either a FP 18psi, 25psi, or a forge WGA...or even possibly messed with extra pre-load on the stock WGA? I did this on my IX turbo with slim boost benefits but undocumented whp gains.

Im still on the stock WGA. I actually was about to put some preload on it thursday because my car was all apart but it didn't want to break free easily and I still had to put the trans back in so I decided it wasn't worth the time.

My boost curve is pretty much the same as yours. After how fast it felt last night (cool air), I don't even care about getting more boost up top.
