Will a MAF from a 96 3000GT VR4 work on an EVO IX

Been trying to find one locally and thats all I've come up with so far.

IIRC the 3000gt is the same maf as the 2g dsm which flows about 30% LESS than the stock evo maf.
The stock evo maf is also one in the same as the 3g eclipse maf. (And I have one for sale, w/o honeycombs)
