I am trying to find out what cams are in my evo 8. I have looked through the oil fill cap and found some markings. there is an S with something RING on the visible left hand side. to the visible right is stamped a 6. I know this isnt much any help is greatly appreciated.

 

The S could be part of a part number. It would be a lot easier if you atleast took off the valve cover. Its really not that hard at all.

 

pulled the vc and found- xs enginering with 31u and 6 and 4. does anyone know these cams?

So they are xs engineering 272 being the only one offered on their site. Does anyone have anything on this company or these cams
