Cams will give you more power, and allow your engine to flow more volume to the point of maxing out the stock turbo. Upgrade valve springs and retainers and you can rev to 8k.

You don't need new injectors, but a tune may max them out. Peeps like to get larger injectors for more flow at a lower duty cycle. You will want new injectors if you upgrade the turbo.

Cams seem like the next logical mod for your setup. Only thing is why do you want hks 272? I think if you so some searching you'll find a few cams that will make more power throughout the curve.

I have the HKS 264/264. I have similar setup as you w/ 660cc injectors, which was because I got them used at a great price.
Your tuner will let you know at what % duty cycle your injectors are running at.
You won't be needing injectors yet, but if you are going w/ FP green or Red, you will.
Let me know if you need the 272s used. I can introduce you a guy who has a set on this forum.
I got mine used at a great price, and for my DD, I love the 264s. Toshi

supposedly cams on an 8 will help tremendously regardless of stock turbo or upgraded.
You might not need bigger injectors yet, but not a bad thing to have for once you get tuned and pull more boost and HP

Im selling a set of 680's cheap if you are looking though.
I would look for a diff set of cams unless the HKS are dirt cheap. I just picked up GSC cams and they are rated much better cams and likely cheaper then the HKS new.

If you are buying used cams, be sure to watch out for scoring on the cam journals or any other damage before buying.

I hear the BC stuff is losing power unless they are degreed. I've used the FP2s and FP4R cams in DSM applications, and they pull hard up top. I hear the Evo guys have good results as well.

If you're going to buy cams, buy the Kelford or the GSC. Personally, I went with the Kelford and think they rock. The GSC are just as good of a product. Do some research, see where you want your car "goal hp wise" and go from there. Don't just buy some cams because of a good deal, or anything. Make sure you get a cam thats going to work for your specific goals in mind.
