So I noticed while shifting if I shift fast to 3,4 or 5th sometimes it grinds. If I just do a nomall shift, it shifts smooth. I changed the trans fluid and still same thing. any suggestions on what this could be ?

ona side note anyone tried synthectic trans fluid ? I heard it's better to stay non-synth.

 

Am having a similar problem.. only when speeding shifting at high rpms. What did you do before you had this problem? New fluid?.. I havent tried adjusting the clutch yet. Maybe it will help, if not, i guess its the synchro..

 

Synchros are worn.

I just got my shep trans back and after 2000 miles on DD it grinds again. FTL!!!
