idle issue..

On my way to work car was fine about 1/4 tank on way home obv tank lower i got off highway idle was erratic would dip down real low almost stall did this for rest of evening, just filled up with sunco had same issue pulled car into drive way started rev'd it a little re started etc seems alright, boost is normal just deceleration seems a little longer, one thing i noticed that was off but the filler nozzle that goes into tank i thought there was a little metal flap or something that got pushed in when you put in the gas pump nozzle i cant recall for sure but i thought there was one but now i dont have one, could it be broke off in the tank causing fuel mis flow?, please help

The EVO does not have a flap in the tank.

I would do a real boost leak test with an air compressor for starters.

thanks, you just need some sort of adapter and put it on the air intake correct?

in process of making a boost leak tester, i have a recirc forge diverter valve should i put on the boost leak tester right after maf closer to turbo rather then taking inlet off due to the recirc?, and random, but this is most likely vaccum since it just happens at idle on and off not a catastrophic failure like jumping a tooth on timing belt or something, i'd notice that more probably right
