about to assemble my Vlll motor with a AMS race balance shaft kit... my question is should i mod the oil pump (cut relief spring , or port the relief hole to purge raised oil pressure??)

I have the same bs removal kit and I did no such things to the oil pump. I've never heard of anyone doing that so it should just be a drop in and go kind of thing.
