Searched here for a little while but didn't find what I'm looking for. It goes in-between both of the cam gears to keep them steady while your doing your timing belt. 10 years ago I had one for DSM's but don't have it anymore and getting tired of the zip tie method. The one that I really want is made from aluminum and is really sturdy and so far I can only find this tool:

Also RTM doesnt mention if this works on both EVO's and DSM's. If it does that's great and I'll pick it up but hopefully someone knows where to get the metal ones.

its the same tool for both cars.
I got the Jay racing kit for my Evo. Its plastic, but worked well once you got the cams to the right spot. (tip. . . . put it in with the belt still on) ;lol
