Nisei LICP VS ETS LICP

They are both good imo and your prob going to get a 50/50 on the thread. It will be your choice but I would go ETS. I'll start the name calling

they both seem to have the same design the only difference i see its that the niesi has that bracket

Nisei has the bracket which supports it more when you start running high boost. Either one works, ETS is held up by the coupler but its so light its doesn't really matter. They are basically the same design. I bought which one was cheaper and it happened to be Nisei which I prefer because of the bracket and its aluminum instead of powdercoated steel.

Did you have problems with the ETS?

Older versions of the ETS pipe were made from mild steel instead of stainless. People are experiencing issues w/ the inside of the pipe rusting because it's not powdercoated. ETS has since switched to stainless steel exclusively, so this isn't an issue anymore. I would assume SRT-TO-EVO had a mild steel pipe that rusted.

I was having this debate a few months ago. I had wanted a Nisei for the last couple years mostly based on the bracket, but the ETS LP2 piqued my interest for some reason. I don't think you can go wrong either way, so it really depends on your personal opinion about material choice and bracket vs. no bracket, as you're going to get arguments for/against both. Ultimately, I could see both sides of either argument so it really came down to price for me. I probably would've gone w/ Nisei, but I found a used ETS LP2 first. I still need to check if mine is an old mild steel version or stainless (didn't see any rust at install), but I have no complaints thus far. I would like to note that the ETS pipe is definitely heavier than the stock pipe, if saving every ounce is important to you.

It will not crack...bending it is damn hard. I have tightened down those T-bolt clamps TIGHT and it has not deformed it at all. It can happen but you would have to be severely over torque the clamps.

Yeah I have PLENTY of rust. The reason why I will now now persuade people against their products isn't because they simply made them out of steel. They had the audacity to think they would get my money TWICE by making me pay $100 to replace my licp, and intake. They had an opportunity to turn things around and make things right but instead smack people in the face and try to charge for a replacement (all the while sending the old pos back to them as well, It's just an inconvenience)? Didn't they ever take business ethics? Anywho, I'd rather pay $300 to get rid of this garbage then to to give them another $100 of mine. I'm also yanking the intercooler as well to be replaced with a BR race along with the LICP. Such a shame, I used to be a big supporter of ETS and always gave them the benefit of the doubt.

Yeah, I totally understand where you're coming from. Unfortunately, I bought mine about a month before the rust issue really came to light, but I'd be screwed either way since I bought it used. Had I bought it new and they wanted me to pay for anything more than maybe shipping back to them I'd be pissed too.
