Hey guys, whats the best way to do this? Best way meaning the most power gain.

No need for cat, muffler,etc.

1) Have a 3' straight pipe all the way to the back?
2) Have only a DP.
3) straight pipe until middle of car, where cat originally ends.
4) No DP, no pipes whatsoever.

I dont have any laws to follow, so I can do this to get every inch of HP from the best freeflowing exhaust.

Yup, I would.

Went for another race last sat, illegal. The no exhaust setup was being used by the top seeded, heavy modded civics. I could'nt see any pipes from the rear.

Fyi, civics are the king here in the Phil. And Im gonna love eating them alive soon.

Oh yeah, an Evo5 beat me, 3 car lead. Was left behind in 3rd gear. he was running 1 bar of boost, me .7. Not bad huh ...

His plate was customized ... BHP 531. I wonder if its his real rating. Very nice guy btw.

 

I would say a downpipe coming off the O2 housing and then once it clears the oil pan it should aim down towards the ground some what, just to keep it form exhuasting into the car.
No DP is not going to give the best result, due to gas flow and reversion. No need for any more pipe then the DP though.
