Help please - clutch line bleeding

So I just installed the SPEC super twin and got the tranny back on the car. Before completely bolting it up I thought I should make sure the TOB was working properly (TOB is a quarter Master Hydro release bearing that comes with the clutch). I pulled off the slave cylinder connected up the lines for the hydo bearing and tried bleeding it and it wouldn't bleed out.

I then tried disconnecting the TOB and just tried bleeding the clutch line itself (where it used to connect to the slave cyl) and that wouldn't bleed either (I even tried power bleeding it). It acts like there is no fluid at all.

From what I can see (correct me if I'm wrong) it looks like the clutch pulls fluid from the brake resevoir (which is full) and gets pressure from a piston located behind the driver side strut tower in the firewall. Is there a resevoir just for the clutch or somthing? Thanks in advance.

The clutch pulls fluid from the brake reservoir.

If you look carefully while shining a light, you will see there are 2 chambers inside the brake/clutch fluid reservoir. Make sure that the clutch side (closest to firewall) is filled as well. I cant remember for sure but you might need to top off the brake side in order to fill over to the clutch side.

Just verifying but you did turn open the bleed nipple on the slave cylinder for fluid to bleed out of?

Also what technique are you using to bleed it? Are you topping the brake reservoir to near the cap, then pumping the clutch, then cracking open the bleed valve and pushing the clutch again? You should try doing it that method. And then tighten the bleed valve and top off the fluid and repeat again.

Yeah, you definitely need to top off the brake reservoir to spill over into the clutch side. If you look closely, you can see the divider to see how far you need to fill it (it's above the "max" line for the brake fluid).
