Undoing Blitz "4mm hose join" ??

I have a Blitz dsbc-r electric boost controler and I'm trying to move the control unit to a different spot on the dash. I need to know how to undo what Blitz calls the "hose join" which is located about two inches from the control unit. It's a small 4mm vacuum hose coupling for the vac line going to the controler. It's row 3, column 1 on the parts list section in the instructions.

A picture would help. That piece doesn't look familiar.

If I had to guess I would think it is for the hard plastic hose...

t undo that you simply have to pull the plastic tab out and the hose should be able to come off after that.

For that kind of fitting there is a plastic ring on the connector at the point where the hose goes into it. Push the ring toward the center of the connector and pull the hose out.

thanks a lot, I didn't want to break this thing since finding a replacement online proved real tough. I couldn't find it anywhere.
