I'm actually at work right now but I'll check the bolt size when I get home tomorrow and I'll try to look under the car. I can't get it to a lift till thursday.

i think that 8 just means its grade 8? Figure out what socket size fits on it for starters. 14mm 17mmm etc...

Good luck. I hate it when this happens, well this and when you lose a bolt or washer or something. Never fails no matter how simple a job something will fall down into the engine bay making my 15 min job an hour job

Good luck!

No such thing as a Grade "8" Metric bolt.

Metric grades are generally 5.8, 8.8, 9.8, 10.9, 12.9.

Knowing what socket size it takes is a huge help because most of us who work on our cars regularly know what whench sizes go where for which bolts.

Judging by how clean it looks i would say upper engine bay somewhere...bottom side usually picks up road grime, brake dust, etc.

Otherwise go with what 4ws said and check every thing u have recently removed/loosened for mods

I dont know if ur motor mounts were direct replacements or not but it could be an extra not needed for the new that u dropped during disassembly...longshot i kno

I found were the bolt came from. It was in plain sight the whole time! I was just overlooking it. It was off the cross member. Thanks for all the help!
