Weird, Weird, Weird Issue!
Hey guys, I tried searching but I could not find the answer to my question. I am having a weird issue with my Evo 8.
Here is the story:
I have not driven my Evo in around a week. Last time I drove it everything was working perfectly. However, when I drove the car today - no matter what I changed on the boost controller the car would NOT boost past 1.0 BAR (14.5psi). I tried lowering and increasing the boost and nothing would change. The car still has solid oil pressure and runs fine under normal driving condition. The car has a GReedy Profec B EBC (old school EBC not the spec 2). Would it be possible that the EBC failed or do I have another issue? Like I said, no matter what setting the boost controller is at - the boost stays the same.
From what I can tell, there are no boost leaks. The problem is not that the boost tapers off badly but it just does not go to where it normally stays at.
Anyone have any ideas? This just started right now. The last time I drove the car everything was perfect.
Thanks in advance,
Jared Dyer

Just for future reference, I solved the problem.
Since my EBC is hidden in the glovebox, I somehow managed to hit the "low boost" button for the first time ever. Problem solved.
Epic Fail!
