need help

ok so this just started happenin whenever i go over bumps or honestly whenever i drive i here a knockin noise comin from where it seems to be under my feet i can here it really good when i ride in neutral cuz my exhaust isnt so loud then it sounds like its coming from the axel or something..a buddy told me it sounds like a wheel bearing or something...i really dont feel like takin it to the dealership or shop and pay a diagnostic fee just to look at u..anyone got any suggestions???

maybe a bad strut mount/bearing top???

You'd hear a wheel bearing....its louder as you driver faster and the sound will go away when turning depending on which side the bad wheel bearing is on.

I replaced the drivers side and it was making that noise (almost sounded like tire road noise but way louder)....now the drivers side is starting to go. If you (or if the EVO is second hand the previous owner) pushed the car without axles they'll be toast (Previous owner of my car said they didn't but here I am replacing another wheel bearing.

its completly oppioste of that the faster i drive the less i hear it i hear it really good when im going slow and when i go around turns or up curbs and driveways..

Swaybar or end link. Theese tend to break from time to time. Grab your rear swaybar and jerk it. It should not move. Other than that check the obvious, lugnuts, shocks, exhaust and hangers, strut tower bar.
