Something in the drivetrain grinding....

I have been fighting my car for the past year with one thing after another.....the previous owner had the t-case rebuilt stage2 with mitsu lsd by someone on the forum but I am fearing it is once again on its way out.....the t-case has whined upon decel ever since I have owned the car but the past few months I have noticed a grinding noise upon decel.....once I let off of the gas in any gear I can hear a grinding like something is wearing in the drivetrain....I have a triple plate clutch that is seemingly getting weaker and weaker and my trans has also had some minor issues since I owned the car.....syncro grind in 5th and it has been getting pretty notchy....the grinding noise is definately not normal as it only started withing the last few months.....also when I turn the key to shut the car off there is a clunking noise which sounds like possible transmission noise......the fluids have all been changed on a regular basis....last transmission fuild was royal purple and I intend on changing the trans and the t-case fluid to see what comes out.....I know noone can diagnose this really but I am looking for some insight or possible similiar experience....

I have the same thing. My ride is an 05 RS model. Had the clutch replaced and the throw out bearinng was toast. The inner race of the bearing you could slide back and forth alot. Im thinking this play might have contributed to improper input shaft alignment and caused bearing failure in the tranny. Just my guess though.
