I don't have a sound clip, but I can tell you that it is a high pitch squeal with a air rushing ppssshhhh sound at the end.

This is why people have problems with the car stalling (atleast this is my theory )
When people adjust the BOV while the car idles the car produces around 18 in of vacuum, but when you drive and come to a stop the engine produces about 22in of vacuum. which prevents the valve on the Greddy from closing all the way. Also diconnect the battery when you install the BOV I have found that it helps.

It's a Greddy Type S. I have one and installed another one for a guy on his Evo. We both have no probs.

I haven't tried recirc, the Greddy, but I'm sure that you would have less troubles with it. I personally haven't had any troubles VTA, but if you're worried I would suggest getting an open element air filter and recirculating the BOV

I had the HKS VTA and it's nothing but a headache. Yeah it was fun for a while but it's just a novelty. Having to gas the car just right not to stall was getting old.

I run a 1st gen bov with dejon tool kit and would not trade it. Beautiful sound, stealth and Greddy type-s like when low boost, very pronounced when high boost.
