OEM looking heat shield to fit over Mil Spec cat?
Hey guys,
I am about to pull the trigger on an 06' MR and currently the owner is running a straight pipe tuned on 100 octane.
I want to get a Mil Spec 100-cell cat installed. I had heard that you might be able to weld an OEM looking cat heat shield over the Mil Spec. However, before I buy just any old Lancer cat to get the heat shield, I want to see if anyone else has done this?
Which heat shield will fit over this cat? I would hate to waste 80 bucks to get a heat shield that won't fit!

It looks like the heat shield would fit no problem, but I wanted some input.
