HOW TO eliminate BOV boost flutter?

is there any way to eliminate low boost flutter from bov? whenever my car sees boost and i ease off the throttle, the bov surges causing my car to bog. is there anyway to elimiate this? it drives me crazy when im on the highway. btw recently changed to a greddy rs bov hoping that adjusting it to hard would help eliminate the problem, but its the same as stock. help please thanks

make sure the diagphram isn't torn on the greddy unit. You are recirc. right?

I have had this problem with every valve besides a stock IX valve. My Tial did the same thing too and they said that the cause is the stock turbo being on the surge line. I just got a synapse valve and will be seeing how that works.

Run the BOV vacuum line directly from the manifold. Make sure nothing else is tapped in to it, especially an MBC. Also, make sure the line has no tears. This fixed the fluttering with my TiAL.

I have a IX DV, and still get flutter. I think there was a write up on this in the "How To" section. Something about tapping the LICP with a vacuum nipple...? I think I'm going to try Rushin's advice first though. Thanks man!

would it matter if the bov is vented vs. recirculated as far as fluttering goes?

It shouldn't have an effect on fluttering. Just run your MBC from the LICP nipple and you're set!

Need to do this as well. I thought I was just going to have to live with it.

my mbc has been ran from the licp for awhile now and my valves still flutter in 5th on the highway. Most annoying thing in the world when you have to commute three hours.

If it's only in 5th at low rpm, it could be your turbo surging

I agree with the post above....sounds like you may be talking about surge rather than flutter....at what rpm and throttle % does this occur ? what do your maps look like in this region ?

it flutters anywhere from 4500-6000. I can't tell you what throttle percent but with certain valves it flutters differently. The tial fluttered at 13psi, forge RS at 8psi, and forge bov at 10psi. Now a stock IX valve is perfectly smooth.
