honey comb @ 28 psi

This happened during spirited driving...
Almost sucked by 50 trim/ 35r hybrid turbo on 2.3 stroker.,

Now, im drivining without honey comb...

Is it safe?

I ran my MAF for a while with no screen and no adverse affects. There are a couple threads in the Ecuflash area about it.

I have had mine out for about 6months now.... I didnt notice anything different......

my car started acting up and shortly there after I realized the same thing....I took it out.....28psi on a gt35r....it seemed to actually stabilize my idle upon startup....

you should be fine. I've been running with no MAF screen since 06 with no issues. Same thing happened to me except it was a gt35r @ 22psi. You might find that the A/F @ idle will move a little more, but once the fuel trims relearn it will go back to normal.

if u r tuned , and take the comb out , it will change ur tune

quiestion ?

u guys remove the comb out and do u guys fill the space the comb was sitting on with something so air comes in more fluent ???

btw, symptoms was erradic acceleration 2k t0 3k...and sounds like Subaru!

All cars are different but my tune did not change at all. Not even any lower load.

It screws up your MAF reading without it. Idle will be poor. I would suggest finding a replacement and epoxying it in there.
