wedge collar trouble

I have a brand new comp stage 4 clutch kit that Im putting in my car, I had the complete engine out. I cant seem to get the throw out bearing to connect to the pressure plate. I can get the trans all the way bolted up to the block and then have the fork right where it should be and then when the engine/trans is bolted into the car I hook the slave to it and go inside and press the clutch peddle and it goes straight to the floor and nothing seems to connect.

Pressing the clutch peddle will send the TOB away from the pressure plate and what you want to do is connect the TOB to the plate. Take out the clutch slave for a min or 2 and grab the fork. Now, pull it towards the driver side so that the TOB can go in instead of away. It should click in and should be secured to the plate now.

As for the peddle staying down, try bleeding the clutch system or press the clutch slave piston in. Make sure the clutch peddle is up before pressing or you will have a hard time.

I got it all figured out. Competion some how shipped me the wedge collar without the clip that holds the tob to the PP. I had an extra one and it works perfect now.
