Intake Pipe!

I have the money, im just curious on something ::
When buying the intake pipe, does it really matter WHAT pipe you get? I really dont wanna go cheap-o(ebay) but, if all u really need to worry about is the filter itself? I was going to buy ETS's, (cuz they r the shizit) but once i was looking am i seriously just buying the K&N filter for like 247$? (i wanted the polished one )

ETS or HKS or.. Ebay (really dont want this but hey? its hard times! lol)

(i already have an K&N filter on my car just needing the pipe, but its a lil "beat up")
Lemme know

The K&N Typhoon is the worst intake on the market. It will make your car run extremely lean because it screws with the MAF readings so much.
