turbobackk no tune

Is it safe or effective to run my car with a turboback and maybe a cone filter with out a tune?

Even with throwing a cone filter on there, its not gonna screw with the a/f and make it run worse or slower?

They run rich stock, So when you put on a TBE it just runs a little lean it wont hurt anything

Intake and TBE you'll be fine. But with any add on you always get more out of it with a solid tune. Just remeber that

Just so you understand, there is a HUGE HUGE HUGE difference between a turbo back with a tune and a turbo back without. Get a tune as soon as you can.

^Definitely, I got 10hp from a full tbe/filter/licp without tune then got it tuned and picked up a total of 60hp.

some open-air filters (or more importantly, the pipe) can cause stalling issues. I think it was more prevalent on the VIII and the IX handles things better.
