oil light check help

oil light check help

Nearly 2 months i have problem when i used my car 10 minutes later in 800-900 rpm car oil light is lighting.oil lever is fine and i use defi oil gauge and it shows 1,8 and 1.9 bar in 800-900 rpm what can be the problem i use castrol edge 10-60 how can i solve this problem? also i have a noise in the head i change 16 lifters but noise cant stop.

Change the oil gauge sensor. It's like a 10 dollar part, and they die constantly.

humm very interesting,

first try to chande to grade of oil to 15w50
if problem still here:
does your car use oil ?
did you install cam ?
did you bleed your new lifter ?
do you use balancer shaft removal kit ?

i use 10-60 i use cosworth 272 cams and brain crower springs and retainers no removal kit and dont bleed lifters

today i made a compession test ,on cylinder 3 and 4
comp ratio is 1bar lower then the 1 and 2 which are identical..i ask my friend about the sound coming from the head,he suspects exhaust side valves on 3 and 4 cyl..what can you tell about this ??

is it because of your low comp rotio ?

Does the oil light come on and off around 800-900 rpm? Mines used to flicker on and of during idle and it was the oil sensor. I see you changed your oil sensor so I'm not sure what your problem is.
