i recently notice that my second gear feel notchy and little grinding in the morning for the first to three shift into second, but once it warm up, it shift like butter. is this normal on the MR 6 speed tranny? i don't think it the fluid, i recently change my fluid with mobil 1 75-90 ,3000 miles ago.

How many miles are on the car/transmission? Generally speaking, Cold shifting is going to be a bit notchy until the trans fluid has a chance to warm up.

I get the same as well. For about the first two or three shifts, just a slight grind. I figure if it doesn' do it when it's warm or at high rpm's I'm not worrying about it.

I get the slight grinding during the early morning cold starts also. Tried adjusting the pedal after the twin was installed, however no help. Once you let it idle for like 5 mins and the temp starts rising it shifts like new!

The fluid hasn't gotten the chance to warm up. Try a different tranny fluid though.

The Owners Manual even addresses this issue....Once your car is at operating temperature you should be fine....Also, is Mobil 1 an approved oil ? (For some reason I looked into it and thought it was missing an important certification...Also, I believe the factory calls for a 95 not 90 weight...)
